そうシャッターで尋ねることを、ずっと繰り返しています。
たくさんの偶然が重なってできた景色の不思議について、答えを得られたことはありません。
もし私が、世界の真理を見抜く目を持っていたのなら、風景の中にあるものたちの意味と必然性について、ひとつひとつ説明できたのかもしれません。
しかし、いまだ疑問は疑問のまま。謎を解く鍵は、逃してしまったシャッターチャンスのなかにあったのかもしれません。

Why here?
That's what I keep asking myself with my shutter.
I have never been able to get an answer to the wonder of the landscape, which is the result of many coincidences.
If I had an eye for the truth of the world, I might be able to explain the meaning and inevitability of every single thing in the landscape.
But the question still remains a question. Perhaps the key to unlocking the mystery lies in the shutterbugs I missed.
